Eurovision Song Contest 1966 : My results

Like it did 4 years ago, Luxembourg’s Villa Louvigny played host for what was is 1966, the 11th Eurovision Song Contest.

No changes in participations occured in that year the number of countries in competition sticking thus to 18.

The contest, among other amazing features was marked by an utterly funny voting session as this short story says ; “During the voting process, the presenter (Josiane Chen) accidentally greeted United Kingdom by saying “Good night, London.”, then, she realized the mistake and said “Good evening, London.”, after. Michael Aspel, who was the spokesperson for the United Kingdom, at that time, responded by saying “Good morning, Luxembourg.”
